Global Action On Aging

I’ve been interning as a research associate with the organisation Global Action on Aging for 7 weeks now. GAA is a non-governmental organisation based in the United Nations that looks into ageing population issues like elder rights, pension, health and rural aging. Every week, GAA updates its website and churns out a newsletter that features news articles about ageing from across the world in the 6 official UN languages – English, Mandarin, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and French. Thus the GAA website consists of a wealth of information on ageing that dates back to more than a decade ago!

Since population geography is covered in the A levels, I thought I might do a little advertising for the GAA. Click on the link on the blogroll in the column on the right to explore the website, or like the GAA facebook page!
